The “Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce” recorded an increase in Brazilian exports to the Arab world by 8% during the first seven months of this year, reaching a total value of 10.61 billion dollars compared to 9.825 billion dollars during the same period last year, and exports of Arab countries to Brazil increased to 6.11 billion dollars, bringing the trade exchange between Arab countries and Brazil in the first seven months of 2023 to 16.72 billion dollars.
In the first seven months of this year, the total Brazilian exports to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia reached 1.873 billion dollars, while exports to the state of Qatar reached 155.91 million dollars, Brazilian exports also increased to Kuwait to reach 157.78 million dollars, total exports to Egypt reached 1.163 billion dollars, while exports to the UAE recorded 1.646 billion dollars.
The reports of the “Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce” pointed out that the most prominent products exported to Arab countries included meat, ores, mineral aggregates, sugar, cereals, oilseeds, soybeans, natural or artificial pearls, precious metals, jewelry, coffee, tea and spices.
Exports of Arab countries to Brazil increased in the first seven months of 2023 to reach 6.114 billion dollars. According to the reports of the “Arab-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce”, Saudi exports to Brazil amounted to 1.986 billion dollars during the first seven months of this year, while Qatari exports to Brazil amounted to 408.50 million dollars during the same period.
Kuwaiti exports to Brazil amounted to 188.18 million dollars, while Egyptian exports to Brazil recorded 275.45 million dollars. UAE exports to Brazil amounted to USD 722.07 million between January and July.
The list of the most important products exported by Arab countries to Brazil included mineral fuels, fertilizers, aluminum, plastics, inorganic chemicals, precious metals, salt, sulfur, stones, organic chemicals, fish and iron.
