Official data revealed that the total exports of 4 Arab countries (Saudi Arabia, Iraq, beiba, Kuwait) of crude oil to the United States of America amounted to 23.279 million barrels in August 2023, with a value of 1.877 billion dollars.
According to the data of the US Department of Commerce, which was reviewed by “firsthand information”, Saudi Arabia topped the list of the four countries in terms of the highest exports, where the value of its oil exports amounted to 990.024 million dollars, in quantities of about 11.688 million barrels, while during last July it exported 946.11 million dollars, in the amount of 12.16 million barrels.
Iraq ranked second with oil exports amounting to 7.969 million barrels, with a value of about 573.881 million dollars, while the value of exports in July of this year was about 424.97 million dollars, with an amount of 5.992 million barrels.
Libyan oil exports to America came in third place with about 2 million barrels, worth 163.684 million dollars, compared to 608 thousand barrels worth 53.188 million dollars in July.
Kuwait’s oil exports to America ranked fourth with 1.623 million barrels in the same period, worth 149.517 million dollars, compared to 819 thousand barrels in July, worth 67.906 million dollars.
The data showed that oil imports to the United States during August amounted to about 211.865 million barrels worth 15.443 billion dollars, compared to 193.06 million barrels worth 13.16 billion dollars.
