Meta recently introduced a new feature that allows users to hide the message reading tag inside Messenger conversations on Facebook, so you can read messages, without showing the other party that you have read them, which may be useful for some to preserve their privacy, if they do not have time to respond immediately.
According to the new feature, when hiding the signs of reading messages inside Messenger, the user will also not be able to find out whether the other party has read his message or not, as hiding the signs will apply to both parties automatically.
The user can control the appearance or hide the signs of reading messages on Messenger through the following steps:
1.Initially, we open the messenger application on our smartphones.
2.Then we click on the side menu marker at the top of the user interface.
- Then we click on the gear marker next to the photo of our personal account.
- Now we click the privacy & Safety security & privacy option.
- And after that we select the signs of reading messages. Hence, we will find a key to control the opening or closing of that feature.
It is noteworthy that meta has introduced a number of new features to Messenger users during the current year, the most important of which is the terminal encryption feature that Facebook has been working on since 2020, which was an exclusive feature for a long time for the instant messaging service TSAP. With this feature, no one will be able to access or see the content of users ‘ conversations, because they are encrypted with encryption keys that only the parties to the message have, and therefore no one will be able to access them even if they are dead themselves.
This year, meta also introduced new services for Messenger users based on artificial intelligence, such as making its personal assistant available to chat at any time, which allows users to get various answers to their questions. Also, they can ask queries about current events and news of the moment, a feature supported by Microsoft’s Bing search engine.
In addition, meta has introduced in the United States a software robotic chat based on the personalities of a number of celebrities such as Snoop Dogg and Paris Hilton, in addition to introducing the communities chat feature, which makes it easier for users to organize their communication with group chat groups easier and faster.
