Paraguay’s Minister of Economy and Finance, Carlos Fernández Valdovinos, met with the Minister of Planning and Budget of Brazil, Simone Tebet, in order to address various issues of bilateral interest.
The meeting took place within the framework of his stay in Spain due to the activities promoted by CAF, the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean.
One of the concerns discussed with Minister Tebet is the need to develop bilateral relations in order to collaborate at the level of multilateral organizations to the advantage of both governments.
They also agreed on the necessity of completing the trade deal between the European Union (EU) and Mercosur as soon as feasible, according to the Ministry of Economy and Finance.
Finally, Ministers Fernández Valdovinos and Tebet analyzed future strategic regional integration projects that can greatly benefit both nations and agreed to continue promoting meetings to advance these tasks.
