The WABetaInfo website revealed that the WhatsApp application is preparing to launch a new feature to protect the data of conversations and correspondence, which is to give users the right to choose a custom password for their protected chat folder.
The new feature was discovered in the latest beta version “2.23.21.9” for WhatsApp, which was launched on the Google Store, and the WABetaInfo website published a screenshot showing that WhatsApp is working on the new feature that it will introduce in the future.
Thanks to the new feature, the user himself will be able to set a password or a secret code to protect the private chats folder, and he will also be able to easily find this type of folders inside the application, and another important thing is the possibility of using this feature in the “WhatsApp” applications that the user uses from devices other than his primary device.
The new feature can be tested by subscribing to the “WhatsApp” experimental program via Android devices after downloading the latest version of the application, and it can also be tested via iOS devices.
