As part of its commitment to the Emiratization agenda in the UAE, the Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates will participate in the seventeenth annual tasdeef exhibition from November 13 to 15, 2023, which will be held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC).
Through its participation, the central bank will provide UAE nationals with job opportunities in various banking and insurance specialties in an effort to achieve Emiratisation goals in the financial sector.
The exhibition is an ideal platform to highlight the positive work culture and attractive environment of the central bank, as well as provide opportunities to develop the skills and careers of UAE citizens, which ultimately contributes to the monetary and financial stability of the UAE and improve its global standing.
The central bank will use the platform to educate participants about its regulatory and supervisory role and financial inclusion efforts, and the central bank Youth Council will present its initiatives to enhance the role of youth in the financial sector.
At the level of the financial sector, the central bank seeks to enhance Emiratization efforts through the recruitment and education of Emirati graduates.a prominent example of these efforts is the “Ithra” program launched by the central bank with the aim of recruiting and training 9,375 Emirati citizens between 2026 and 2027 and reaching an Emiratization rate of up to 45% in the banking sector and 30% in other sectors such as insurance, exchange and finance.
Ihab Al Ameri, chief human resources officer at the central bank, said: “We are pleased to continue our participation in the recruitment fair and take advantage of its platform to communicate with ambitious UAE nationals who seek to contribute to the formation of the financial sector in the UAE, in support of the Emiratisation goals that our leadership seeks to achieve.within the framework of its strategic priorities, the central bank remains committed to training and employing Emirati graduates in the financial sector and attracting skilled professionals in various disciplines to contribute to its performance and development.
