Recent official data revealed that Egypt’s exports to the UAE increased by 4.3% during the first 9 months of this year.
According to the data issued by the central agency for public mobilization and statistics in Egypt, Egyptian exports to the UAE during the period from January to the end of September this year increased to about 1.381 billion dollars, compared to about 1.323 billion dollars during the same period last year, an increase of 58.279 million dollars.
According to these figures, Egypt’s Pearl exports account for about 38.6% of the total Egyptian exports to the UAE during the first 9 months of this year.
The data of the device indicate that pearls, precious stones and ornaments ranked at the top of the goods exported by Egypt to the UAE during the first 9 months of this year, although they declined slightly. The value of Pearl exports amounted to about 534.124 million dollars, compared to about 552.697 million dollars during the same period last year, with a decline of 18 million dollars.
This was followed by Egypt’s exports of machinery and electrical appliances, the total value of which amounted to about 208.187 million dollars during the period from January to the end of September this year, compared with 180.420 million dollars during the same period last year 2022, an increase of 27.767 million dollars.
The list of exports included boilers and machinery worth 33.651 million dollars, compared to 11.491 million dollars in the same period last year, an increase of 22.160 million dollars.
Egypt’s fruit exports to the UAE recorded about 75.340 million dollars, compared to about 67.185 million dollars, an increase of 8.155 million dollars.
