The World Bank has approved a $700 million operation for Mexico to strengthen public policies to create economic opportunities and expand Social Security for women.
The operation will help close gender gaps, provide better job opportunities, and improve safety on public transport.
They are looking to extend social security coverage to all domestic workers, to protect them from economic blows.
About 72% of domestic workers in Mexico do not receive any work benefits, according to “reuters”.
