According to official data published on Thursday, Brazil’s producer price index fell by 0.43% on a monthly basis in November.
A report from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) stated that out of the 24 sectors analyzed, 13 of them experienced a decrease in prices.
The largest monthly declines were recorded in the extractive industries with a 7.09%, followed by the transportation equipment with a 2.11%.
In October, the producer price index increased by 1.07% compared to the previous month.
On an annual basis, producer prices fell by 0.52% in November, compared to the same month last year.
