Analysts at “Bank of America” said that they now believe that the US Federal Reserve has finished the cycle of raising interest rates, after the data of the Consumer Price Index (US inflation) for the month of October surprised the markets yesterday, which revealed the continued decline in inflation in the United States.
Analysts of the US Bank, in statements quoted by Reuters, added that they no longer expect that the US Federal Reserve may raise interest rates by 25 basis points again at the next meeting of the monetary policy committee.
It is worth noting that the US Census Bureau showed that the US inflation index was recorded in October at about 3.2% year-on-year, less than market estimates, which indicated that it fell to only 3.3%, as well as core inflation (which excludes energy and food prices) slowed to 4.0% year-on-year by the end of last October, while the markets expected it to fall to only 4.1%.
