Bitcoin is currently trading at a price of 29,205 dollars with a loss of 0.76% today, Monday, August 14, as the world’s largest cryptocurrency could not see any change in its prices, due to a slowdown in trading activities.
The price of bitcoin continued to remain below the price mark of 30 thousand dollars, with BTC suffering losses, since most cryptocurrencies are also trading low on the price charts.
“Bitcoin futures trading volumes are at their lowest levels since December 2022, and this shows that traders may have been avoiding taking steps at current levels,” the CoinDCX research team said, according to the gadgets360 website.
Ether declined by 0.45 % on Monday, and ETH, at the time of writing, was trading at USD 1,840.
After Bitcoin and Ether, the majority of altcoins recorded losses on Monday, These include stablecoins such as Tether, Ripple, USD Coin and Binance USD along with memecoins Shiba Inu and Dogecoin.
CoinMarketCap’s assessment showed that over the past 24 hours, the overall assessment of the cryptocurrency market has decreased by 0.10% to stand at the level of 1.17 trillion dollars.
