Data from the oil Regulatory Authority “ANP” showed on Wednesday that the production of crude oil and natural gas in Brazil in September reached an all-time high in one month, surpassing the previous record set in July.
The National Oil agency said in a statement that the total production of crude oil and natural gas amounted to 4.67 million barrels of oil equivalent per day during this period, with oil production alone rising by 16.7% year-on-year to 3.67 million barrels per day.
The authority added in its statement today-according to Reuters, ” Brazil’s natural gas production jumped by 10.4% to 157.99 million cubic meters per day, as Brazil is a major producer of oil and natural gas, although its impact is not great on the global oil market.
