The general index of Saudi stocks rose 42.57 points, or 0.36 percent, to close at 11931.92. This is the highest result since October 2022.
The total trading volume on the main index was sr 7.19 billion (USD 1.91 billion) with 123 rising and 91 falling shares.
Similarly, the kingdom’s Growth Index rose 231.09 points, or 0.96 percent, to close at 24,223.63 points. The prices of 37 listed shares rose, while 21 declined.
The MSCI index closed up 5.10 points, or 0.33 percent, to 1,543.06 points.
The best performing stock today was Mahara HR company. The company’s share price rose by 4.83 percent to 78.20 riyals.
Other high-performing companies include Allianz Saudi Fransi Cooperative Insurance Company and the National Agricultural Development Corporation.
The worst performing stocks were Al Baha Investment and development company. Its share price fell by 7.14 percent to SAR 0.13.
Among the worst performing stocks was Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abu muti of Riyad Bank and libraries.
