The S&P Merval index of the shares of the leading companies listed on the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange closed with a rise of 1.44%, to 423,580.45 points.
The volume of business operated in shares was 6,867 million pesos, according to “El Economista”.
The shares that lost were those of Banco Macro (-1.36%), Edenor (-1.36%), Loma Negra (-0.89%), Transportadora de Gas del Norte (-0.51%), and Bolsas y Mercados Argentinos (-0.27%).
The papers of the companies that rose the most were those of Telecom Argentina (5.95%), Transportadora de Gas del Sur (5.14%), and Cresud (5.07%).
