Businessman Naguib Sawiris, chairman of the board of Directors of “Orwa developers” company, said that the company intends to develop an integrated urban project in the UAE with investments of 15 billion dollars, and on an area of 20 million square meters and will be developed over 10 years.
He added that the company intends to launch a huge real estate project in Baghdad, Iraq on an area of 75 million square meters with investments equivalent to almost 5 times the investments of its planned project in the UAE.
He stated that Iraq lacks integrated urban projects and we are excited to invest there due to the facilities provided by the Iraqi government, and the prime minister himself follows up on infrastructure projects for urban development projects, which ensures the implementation of a giant project for the company commensurate with the volume of investments.
Sawiris said that the volume of his investments currently in Egypt is about one billion dollars, including 500 million dollars in investments in a sugar factory and 200 million dollars in Aura developers, and of course these investments do not include units that have already been sold to customers.
