Emirates Airlines is celebrating the Rio de Janeiro Carnival from February 9th to 17th by offering classic and colorful Brazilian dishes to passengers on its flights between Dubai and Brazil, according to the Emirati newspaper Al Bayan.
Passengers in the first class, business class, and premium economy class from Dubai to Brazil enjoy traditional picanha, brigadeiro cheesecake with English coconut cream, guava cheese, and passion fruit with a touch of vibrant carnival colors.
In the economy class, passengers enjoy beef with cebola, brigadeiro cheesecake, chocolate mousse, and topped with colorful candy sprinkles on the top.
Passengers in first class, business class, and premium economy class from Brazil to Dubai will enjoy Brazilian beef ribs with pesto rice, and complete their meal with a piece of coconut cheesecake with passion fruit and strawberry jam flavors.
Economy class customers will also enjoy a traditional Caranaval picnic dish with pesto rice and a Cocada Cremosa dessert.
The celebratory atmosphere continues on the Emirates Inflight Entertainment (ice) system, which has won awards. It offers 12 Brazilian films, as well as over 190 Hollywood films dubbed in Portuguese, including recent releases like “Openheimer” and “The Burial”.
In addition, there are about 53 music playlists and albums of Latin music, including selections from Brazil such as Lambada, and songs from prominent artists like Sergio Mendes and Gilberto Gil.
