Emirates announced that it has signed agreements worth more than AED 5.5 billion (USD 1.5 billion) to improve the performance of its fleet of A380 double-decker aircraft on the sidelines of its participation in the Dubai Airshow 2023.
According to a statement published by the company on its website, the agreements were signed with an expanded network of service providers and partners to provide MRO maintenance, repair and overhaul services, provide spare parts, repair components, in addition to technical support.
Emirates said in its statement that it will make maximum use of the expertise and capabilities of its partners, including Honeywell, Collins Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, Safran, Lufthansa Technik, OEM services, jameco, Haikou, and others to extend the operational life of its fleet of A380 aircraft while maintaining the highest operational efficiency, in accordance with the airline’s strict standards.
