The director of production control at the National Petrochemical Company of Iran, Bijan jaqini, announced that the company has developed a plan to export technical services to Venezuela and Brazil.
According to Mehr news agency, Bijan gekini said that customers from Africa, Asia, Europe and the United States have shown their desire for Iranian petrochemical products, and now the National Oil Company has begun to enter the Latin American market as part of the government’s energy diplomacy.
“The Iranian petrochemical industry is reaching its sixtieth year,” he added, stressing that the country’s presence in various international petrochemical markets shows its economic strength.
He pointed out that the petrochemical industry has become Iran’s strong point at a time when the political positions of our competitors in the market and sanctions are aimed at bringing us to our knees, pointing out that the company has developed a plan to export technical services to Venezuela and Brazil.
“Despite significant restrictions and obstacles, the Persian Gulf holding company accounts for 40 percent of the country’s petrochemical sales capacity,”said jaqini, who also serves as chairman of the board of Directors of the Persian Gulf holding company for the petrochemical industry.
“We have achieved self-sufficiency in the production of a large number of strategic equipment and catalysts,” said This Iranian manager, concluding that the country has become self-sufficient in obtaining more than 90 percent of the technical knowledge of catalysts and producing about 90 percent of catalysts.
