The American company “meta platform” has announced the start of the process of complete encryption of all personal conversations and calls on Messenger and Facebook.
The social networking company said that the full encryption feature will be available to users immediately, but it may take some time for all Messenger accounts to be updated with full encryption, to be within the default settings.
She explained that the “messenger” program previously had the option of turning on the full encryption feature, which allows messages to be read only by the sender and recipient, but with this change the messages will be encrypted automatically.
The company pointed out that the feature can help protect users from hacking, scammers and criminals; the WhatsApp platform of meta has already encrypted messages.
