Peruvian agricultural exports (agriculture and livestock) reached 4,301 million dollars as of July of this year, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur) reported.
“The non-traditional agricultural sector with added value accumulated 4,301 million dollars between January and July, thanks to higher sales of grapes, blueberries, and avocados,” the ministry said in a statement.
“The three main non-traditional products: grapes, blueberries, and avocados, achieved profits of 664 million dollars, 239 million dollars, and 820 million dollars, respectively,” the ministry added.
The Ministry pointed out that Peruvian shipments abroad reached 4,998 million dollars during July. This value is 6% higher than that registered in July 2022.
“China remains Peru’s main trading partner in the world, followed by the United States and the European Union,” the ministry said.
