Edge Group, one of the leading high-tech and defense groups, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with the Brazilian Marine Corps.
The agreement demonstrates the importance of the Brazilian defense market for Edge Group, and also provides significant and promising opportunities for the group to showcase its advanced portfolio of multi-domain solutions, focusing on autonomous vehicles, electronic warfare and secure communications.
The signing ceremony took place in the city of Rio de Janeiro as part of the current visit of Edge Group leaders to the most prominent local government headquarters and offices of defense partners and potential clients in Brazil.
The agreement was signed by Mansoor Al Mulla, managing director and CEO of Edge Group, Vice Admiral (Navy) Rogerio Ramos lagi, commander of the materials sector in the Marines, in the presence of Saleh Ahmed Salem Al zreim Al Suwaidi, UAE Ambassador to Brazil, Faisal Al Bannai, chairman of the board of Directors of Edge Group, and a number of senior officials of Edge Group and the Brazilian navy, including Hamad Al Marr, head of the missile and weapons sector at Edge, Rodrigo Torres, president and CFO of Edge Group, Fleet Admiral Carlos Chagas Viana Braga, commander-in-chief of Marines; and the Director General of the maritime materials sector, Admiral Arthur Fernando Bettega Correa.
