The group has recorded in the first half of the fiscal year 2023-2024, net profits reached AED 10.1 billion, and the record semi-annual profits exceeded AED 4.2 billion in 2022 by a percentage of 138%
The group’s profit before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization increased to AED 20.6 billion, compared to AED 15.3 billion, during the same period last year, which indicates a strong operating profitability of the group.
The group’s revenues in the first half of the current fiscal year reached more than AED 67.3 billion, and revenues achieved a growth of 20%, compared to revenues for the same period last year, which amounted to AED 56.3 billion.
Emirates Group said in a statement that these profits resulted from the unprecedented demand for air transportation around the world, which led to an increase in its upward index, especially after the lifting of travel restrictions in recent years due to the corona crisis.
His Highness Sheikh “Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Supreme chairman and CEO of Emirates airline, explained that the group is now reaping the fruits of its plans to return stronger than ever, as it has surpassed its previous records.
The group also achieved its best semi-annual performance ever, and the group’s profits during the six months of the fiscal year 2023-2024 were almost equal to the record profits in the first half of the entire fiscal year 2022-2023.
