The UAE is preparing to set records in the number of visitors from abroad and hotel bookings by the end of the current year 2023, as the month of December witnesses events and events awaited by the whole world, and the tourism sector enters the peak season, which coincides with four major events, namely: the conference of the parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on climate change “cop 28”, the fourth edition of the “world’s most beautiful winter campaign”, Federation Day events, in addition to the New Year celebrations.
Business and conference tourism represent the most important elements of the tourism scene in the country, and contribute to establishing its position as a prestigious global destination in hosting giant events, exhibitions and conferences, and providing participants in these events with various services and facilities according to the highest standards.
The cop28 Conference of the parties on climate change will be launched from November 30, 2023 to December 12, 2023, and more than 70 thousand participants are expected to attend this global event, including heads of state, government officials and international industry leaders.
The national airports and air carriers of the United Arab Emirates have completed all their preparations to receive the participants of the event and manage the flow of passengers to the fullest, in order to take advantage of the high logistical and technical capabilities it enjoys.
The hotel sector in the UAE has been able to receive a large number of hotel booking requests, and the occupancy rate has increased perfectly, and specialized teams from the federal and local concerned authorities have developed tight plans to ensure the ease of transportation and entry of visitors to the event.
