Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro said that his country’s agricultural producers will export large amounts of food to various countries in the coming years.
“I imagine agricultural producers in Venezuela, within three, five, and 10 years, exporting large quantities of food to Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, and Colombia; they are natural markets, and we have great competitive advantages for the quality of the Venezuelan product,” Maduro said during a speech.
The Venezuelan president said that they have all the markets in the world, especially all the Arab countries.
“The governor of the state of Carabobo (center), Rafael Lacava, will visit Saudi Arabia soon for a special mission related to food production,” he added.
Maduro affirmed that his country’s recent participation in the BRICS summit (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) allowed Venezuela to consolidate relations with that group.
“The export vocation will be fundamental to consolidating the prosperous future of that South American nation,” he explained.
