Jared Bernstein, chairman of the White House Council of Economic Advisers, said that the high level of consumer spending during the holiday season, the increase in wages over the past nine months and the recent rise in consumer confidence all point to a good start to 2024.
Bernstein told “Fox News Sunday” that President Joe Biden will continue to focus on reducing costs for Americans if he wins a second presidential term.
“If you really look at the course of the economy … I think you see some real momentum that gets us off to a good start to the New Year”.
